Transform Tomorrow was a capital campaign fundraiser for California State University, Chico that launched in 2016 with the goal to raise $100M by 2020. This site was the online hub for donor stories and strategic funding vision, designed as a digital companion to match printed material with custom branding elements. The website served as a donor stewardship vehicle and bragging piece. Content was provided by University Advancement staff, but my team had the freedom to design a showpiece with bold graphics and interactive elements.
Our goal for this project was to create a unique platform that highlights the incredible contributions of our generous donors and makes them feel truly special. Through careful consideration of the user experience and design elements, we developed a site that effectively tells the stories of those who have given to the campaign and showcases the impact of their contributions. This website was a powerful tool to support the university's efforts to raise vital funds for a better tomorrow.
bold graphic style for the visual elements like banners and carousels, injecting references to the brand within page elements
subtle motion loading for display text
developed within the WCMS for easy updates by outside maintainers
usage of the campaign logo and font in prominent locations on the website
The fundraising goal was met by the intended date, and our partners for the project were very happy with the results of our work.
